I was ready to give up

To let everything go and disappear

I got very close, too close, closer than ever

But after another dark night of the soul, I’ve remembered who the fuck I am and I changed my mind… about everything.

My life has blown up so many times

I’m dismembered and exhausted
The fire has burned me out

I am Scorched Earth

Hollow

So out of the ash I rise
As the greatest pens “And Still I Rise”
